Come experience one of the southeast's most scenic and challenging centuries. The rigorous 100-mile option will take you through 3 states (Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia) and over 3 mountains (Suck Creek, Sand and Lookout). The moderate 62-mile option spans 2 states and 1 mountain. The 25-mile option takes riders across the hilly terrain of 1 state.

1st Annual "Squeal n Wheel to Heal" Benefit Bike Ride
Pulaski, Tennessee

Join Deanna Glossup’s Family and the Friends of Vanderbilt Children's Hospital for this benefit for both Deanna and the Children's Hospital. It is a combination metric century (begins at 8am) and 6 mile children/teen and family ride (begins at 9am).

Finish up the ride and attend the Kiwanis Sundrop Barbeque cook-off for lunch.

The Fletcher Flyer
western North Carolina

The Fletcher Flyer offers full, metric and half century rides that wind through the valleys of western North Carolina south of Asheville. There are just enough rolling climbs to keep you interested. It will challenge the experienced rider with its quick pace, yet it is not too difficult for the first-time century rider.

Mountains of Misery and Wilderness Road Ride
Blacksburg, VA

Are you ready to climb? The 2007 Mountains of Misery Ride takes place on Sunday, May 27th. It features a challenging Century and a quad searing Double Metric (200 kilometers/ 125 miles). The Challenge Century (100 miles) has nearly 10,000 feet of climbing. The double metric over 13,000 feet. Don't worry, or maybe, worry - both routes still end with the climb up to beautiful Mountain Lake, a five-kilometer category 1 climb, reaching road pitches up to 11.9%!

The Tri Cities Road Club hosts the event to raise funds/awareness for the ETSU Foundation for the Jacob Francisco Lectureship at the Quillen College of Medicine, and highlight the e.coli-contaminated wells and springs in Washington County, Tennessee in order to obtain potable water to those residents.
