The Highland Rimmers Bicycle Club is proud to announce the 35th annual Elk River Valley 100, a bike tour of Middle Tennessee. We would like to encourage advance registration which is available at Active.com.

BRAT-Bike Ride Across Tennessee
Nashville, Tennessee

The 2008 BRAT will begin in upper east Tennessee at Warriors Path State Park. The terrain on this year's route will vary greatly each day. There will be hills, mountains and even some flat terrain. This years BRAT will be more Mountainous than the past years. Long graded climbs will abound. Expect beautiful rural Tennessee scenery and back roads, a promise the BRAT keeps every year!

All-You-Can-Eat Century
Huntsville, Alabama

The course meanders through the rural Appalachian Foothills region of Madison County, Alabama; and Lincoln and Franklin counties of Tennessee. There are numerous rolling hills, with just two "significant" climbs at the 40 and 70 mile marks.

Tour De Glade
Gladeville, TN.

We are putting on a ride in conjunction with a community festival that happens each year in Gladeville, TN. Gladeville is right off of 840 on the way to Lebanon. There are 3 ride options this year, we have a 15 mile fun ride, a half metric century and a full metric century. The rides will be supported with SAG and rest stops. This is a charity ride, the proceeds from the ride will be donated to Gladeville Baptist church who then takes the money and purchases bikes for pastors in Kenya.

Clarksville, Tennessee

EVERY YEAR SINCE 1986, THE "SUNRISE" HAS ATTRACTED THE BIGGEST FIELD IN THE NASHVILLE AREA. Riders like it for its relative lack of adversity. Novices come to complete their first centuries. Veterans come to set personal records. Hammerheads ride their big chainrings all day long. The scenery is sweet, but you can sum up what everybody likes in two words: easy and fast.

Six Gap Century (& 3 gap fifty)
Dahlonega, Georgia

Six Gap Century 100 mile and Three Gap 50 mile bike ride through the mountains. Georgia's largest mountain ride is held annually the last Sunday in September.
